You're not alone
Support and understanding for eating disorders and addictions, every step of the way.
Does the cycle of control and coping leave you feeling exhausted?
Often, behaviors related to addictions and eating disorders start as an intelligent way to cope—a way to numb intense pain, gain control in a chaotic world, or quiet a loud, critical mind. But over time, the very things that kept you safe start to feel like a prison.
You might be here because you are completely exhausted by the mental real estate these patterns take up. You are tired of the cycles of secrecy, shame, and trying to "force" yourself to be disciplined. You're ready to look beneath the surface, heal the root distress, and rebuild a relationship with yourself based on trust instead of control.
Moving beyond behaviors to heal the root cause.
Lasting recovery doesn't happen by just pushing your way through cravings or urges. It happens by understanding the emotional needs underneath them. My approach combines clinical expertise with somatic, nervous-system-centered tools to help you build true resilience.
We look at what your behaviors are trying to protect or soothe, removing the shame so we can actually understand the pattern. We'll practice tangible, body-centered tools to help you sit with uncomfortable emotions without needing to immediately numb or control them. We'll utilize deeper processing methods (like EMDR and somatic inquiry) to heal the old wounds or negative self-beliefs ("I'm not enough," "I'm unsafe") that fuel the cycle.
